Powder

I think H4895 is one of the best in the 22/250 and it is rated as an "Extreme" powder by Hodgdon, meaning that varying temps have little influence on the propellant. Try it, I think you'll like it.

My Lila barreled 22-250 loves IMR 8208 with 55 gr Nosler BT. 8208 is supposed to be very temp stable.

I load 35grains of imr4064 with Hornady 55 grain soft point for the winter and load 55grain soft point. With h380 for the summer and get under 1/4 inch at 100yards excellent. I am going too try 63grain hollow point too see what will happen

H4895, Varget, Imr4064, and Imr8208xbr are all good powders that will work just as good in the summer and winter, this is for 50-55grn pills. For the 40grn variety, Imr8208xbr or my personal favorite RL10x, about the only alliant powder that doesn't have the 150fps temp swings.
