Pillar Bedding Kits, doing multiple rifles

I'll start by saying I've never pillar bedded before but after watching every video I could find I'm confident it'll be a fine job. I'm looking to do 2 of my rifles and maybe a 3rd. I've been looking at scorehigh kits and I'm curious do I really need them?

Do you guys just buy some epoxy and pillars and go at it? If I do two of my rifles, I surely wouldn't need two kits?

I might add that I turn my own pillars from aluminium and use Devcon (Titanium) to bed them in.

The bloke on Terminal Ballistics is pretty fussy about his 'dams' but the Devcon is more viscose and will not run everywhere so I find it easier to use. He does a good job.
