Picatinny rail mounting screws for model 70

I'm changing the mounts and scope on my model 70 coyote light .22-250. I currently have leupold dove tail bases/rings but I have a nightforce A198 picatinny rail on the way but it doesnt come with mounting hardware.

What style screw head and size will I need to mount the picatinny rail to my model 70 short action?

I'm not sure if I will be able to use the screws from the leupold base so I want to be prepared so that I don't have any delays in installing it.

That seems really odd that screws were not included. I've never bought a rail that a choice of screws 6X48 or 8X40 were not included. The screw type would have to match the screw seat in the rail or there will be problems. I would get a hold of the supplier and get a set of correct screws.
