Parts for Marlin 444

I have a 1973 Marlin 444 lever action, and I need a rear barrel band. Those that have been offered must have come off something small, like a 30-30. One I bought advertised as a 444 was too small by a 1/4". Reply was Marlin changed! Anyone have a suggestion?

Numrich nicely saying my purchase was their last one and Marlin must have changed! eBay is the source of the 30 cal sizes. All other suggestions welcomed.

Not that complicated of a piece, just whittle one out of mild steel and polish and blue it.
