You have these handy little page navigators at the bottom of each page.
But not at the top of each page.
They are even more handy when you put them at top, and bottom.

Many (perhaps most?) users browse from their mobile device - in its present format the feature depicted in your attached screenshot is available to all mobile users but requires they turn their device on its side.
Some of us feel this could be improved

Suggestion being - user experience could be improved for MANY if navigation options were to be offered in a way that doesn't require turning device on side to access
Not a big deal. I'm happy because I just found the button for 'dark mode'
Why do I have to log in from my phone, when "keep me logged in" is checked?

Possibly something to do with the cookie monster!!??
Like I said, have no issues navigating through pages of any threads.

It's probably just your browser keeping you safe then - doesn't make it any less annoying though.
Short answer is you might be able to fix it by adjusting your browser settings (My guess is the browser is 'clearing cache' or 'deleting cookies' every time you shut it down, but im no tech wizard myself
)

I'll have to find a 9yr old to show me where to check that….
I wholeheartedly agree about adding a page navigator to the top. I often pull up a page on my phone and realize it's not at post XXX that I had previously read through and want to jump forward a few posts. It's a little aggravating to have to scroll to the bottom of the page to navigate forward. A top navigator would be most helpful.
