Been a member for a while but never posted. Got into High Power competition a few years ago and really enjoy it. I live about 18 miles from Camp Perry so it makes it nice when the National Matches come to town. The thrill I felt the first time I got an X at 600 with iron sights on an AR is indescribable. Have since gotten an AR10 to try my hand some day at 1000.
Just sent my deposit off to an outfitter in Colorado for and Drop camp Elk hunt this coming fall, did a guided hunt about 6 years ago. Since I I already had a Savage 110E in 270 I plan to take it and load for it.
