I ordered up 40 rounds of Norma 7 mm Mauser brass from Midway the other day. When it arrived I did my usual routine with new brass, primer pockets, flash hole, trim to length, full length resize, skim neck turn and weigh. When I got to the weigh part I was pleasantly surprised. The 40 rounds all weighed within .9 grains of each other. I am used to Remington or Winchester brass that weighs within 5 or 6 grains of each other. I sure hope they shoot as good as they look.:D Is this normal for Norma brass or did I just get a good batch?

a few months ago I ordered 100 300wsm norma brass and I was a little suprised at the weight difference. something like 2 grains. Not that big of a deal but I was expecting it to be more consistent. Now I have two batches 32 and 68 rounds. oh well.
