Noob reloading process question

Everyone is pointing you in the right direction on a powder. You could even try something a little slower too, I know there are some powders available often where I'm at that work well in 300 Win Mag. I've used MagPro for 168gr projectiles and had decent luck. I'd also be looking for some H1000, otherwise go with the slower powders that you have like the Re22 or Re25.

Maybe instead of going down in bullet weight you should've picked up some 180gr Interbond or ELD-Xs or really anything in the same weight, then you'd have a better starting point if you go back to the bullet you wanted to shoot.
I've got a 300 Win and mine loves the H1000 (74 grains) and the Eldx 190 gr. Consistantly .5 moa at 100 yards. Scored the Elk at 185 yards

Imr4350, start with mild load, seating depth test at 100 yds. Then powder test. Then adjust tuner. Done.
You know a lot of people get down on IMR 4350. But for hunting I have always liked it. There's no telling how much of it we have shot in factory loads. It isn't as temp stable, but it's always been accurate enough by far in my hunting loads. I like IMR 4895 as well and it's in the same boat.

What sort of velocities do you typically get out of a good load of RE-22 with 165/168 class bullets? I've got a friend that is just getting ready to start developing loads and I think I saw the Reloader 22 available somewhere
My tune is just shy of 3200 with a 25" barrel.
