I guess I can take that as a compliment. He turned 49 in March and I turned 74 in March, only 25 years apart.:)
Dang, I was asking myself the same question but didnt want to pry. Good on you still out on the chase!

Definitely do take it as a compliment. It was meant as such. Great job.

Jiust finished a NM Antelope hunt...saw some great goats, in GMU 31. My S-I-L and I scored a coupled of nice ones. Mine with a 6.5-264 Berger 156 EOL and S-I-L with a 6.5 CM with Hornady Black factory ammo.
Mine is the bottom, S-I-L on top...his scored 81.25”...a great goat!
Really nice goats. Congrats

Don’t get me wrong, those are AWESOME goats, but official scores usually are lower than a guide score. My last guide was off 5” and he claimed to be “spot on”. This is usually the case with guides, unless they used to be an official scorer with B&C.

I've not scored a **** ton of goat's but I am a gamblin man! I'd be willing to bet you $5 for every 1/8th over or under 80 on the son in laws goat. Curious what you think it scores?
