Hello all,

I recently made a trade for a NightForce NXS 5.5-22x50. It appeared to be in good shape and had paperwork from where it went back to NF a few months ago to get the once over. I do not believe my unit has zerostop as it only has one set screw on the elevation cap.

I tried to call Tech Support today, but they are closed on Friday, and I have done lots of googling with little help.

On my elevation knob, when I turn it I can feel the distinctive clicks, until I stop and turn the other way - the way I just came from. When I turn it the opposite way it rotates smoothly for what would be about 4 or so clicks, then resumes clicking. This happens going cw-ccw, or ccw-cw. I can't figure out if something is off or this is normal. I have not mounted the scope yet.

Thanks for your help.
