Newcon LRB 7x50 Rangefinding Binos ???

are these worth the price, $1,200 vs $2,300 for leica geovid or bushnell for $800?
can anybody share their experience with these binos?
 
or how about the newcon lrm2200si 2.2km monocular for $659, sounds like a geat deal if they actually work...does anybody use these?
