Hope I can learn from dedicated shooters as well as contribute to the knowledge pool.

I am a land surveyor by trade and have hunted a lot in South Africa - mostly in our bushveldt areas where shorter hunting distances are the norm.
 
Thanks for the "welcomes" so far.

I was hunting last week as Covid had us in lockdown and we could not travel. It is late in the season and the weather was 26C and above. Manage to shoot 3 Impala rams, of which I kept one for meat. Kudu was also available, but my freezers are full and due to the lockdown my income has taken a steep downward curve.
 
I'm sure everyone is feeling the pain of the lockdown looking forward to hear from you about African hunts I'm sure you'll bring a greatly different perspective than what we are used to hearing welcome to the forum from Tennessee
