New unfired Desert Tech Covert in 338LM - Lefty

What kind of velocity are you getting out of the 18" barrel? Seems like a waste for the 338 Lapua Mag in that short a barrel length but I could be blantantly wrong.

I have no idea as I've never fired the rifle. I would assume the velocity is reduced as a function of the shorter barrel.
