New to LRH

I am new to LRH, referred by a fellow hunter. I have had a 338 Lapua LR rifle built by Surgeon and looking for any suggestions on loads. Is anyone shooting the factory ammo? If so, specifics?

I spend time in MN, AZ and ND (Love ND and AZ the most). Have spent way too much time working so now it is time to hunt and shoot.

Looking for any information or tips regarding the 338?

First off, welcome to LRH.com!!

For bullets, the new 300gr Berger is your best choice. It has the highest BC of a factory 338 bullet and hopefully will prove to work great on game like the other bergers. Then there is the tried and true 300gr SMK.
