Hello everyone,
I am new to long range shooting and possibly buying my first long range rifle very soon.
I plan on pursuing elk in Colorado. I went on my second hunt this year and could only get within 1200 yards of the herd after they had been pressured pretty hard.
I have a Ruger 7 mag that I am considering using in a build or moving up to a Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag, 300 RUM, or going for broke and buying a 338 Lapua. Any advice is welcome.
