I am from Oklahoma and spent 13 years in the Army 11B I have also been part of the Army for 32 years, planning on retirement this year. I am a long time reloaded (40yrs).
I am just now getting into long range shooting my own rifles and I'm ready to learn from you good folks

I almost forgot, I am trying to build my old Remington 700 7mm rem mag into a better long range rifle. Looking for a better 26" barrel, hoping that will be a step closer

Would like to see you post a thread on your 7RM accurizing project. Lots of thing you can do before going the barrel route if the barrel is still good.

I have had that particular rifle since 1987 and has been my go to rifle for deer. She has had lots of rounds through her. It still shoots pretty good but I would like to find at least a 26" barrel with a threaded end for a muzzle break. A couple of years ago I bought a browning hells canyon LR in 7mm mag and I couldn't believe how much less recoil it has.
