Stumbled across this page looking at info on stocks. Recently got a Savage model 110 300wm. Always wanted to get into long range stuff. Have been shooting 7mm rem mag for years. But it has too much sentimental value to change and modify at this point.
Lookin forward to stretching this out to 1000 yard shooter. Don't anticipate taking down animals at this range. But we don't live in a perfect world. Nice to know limitations and abilities for worst case scenarios.
