Since this is long range hunting, or as we call it in the west, hunting, I'll say my longest kill was 600 yds on the first shot 875 on the second on a cow elk.

Both shots were made with a Remington 700 LTR in 308. Both shots were in the vitals and each would have been fatal. To be honest it's still my only harvest with a rifle, everything else is bow and muzzle loader.

Seems like this would be the ideal place to get advice on reloading for both precision and hunting. I just ordered my first press this week, so, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for the members here
