Hi all, new to the forum and new to long distance shooting. Started shooting handguns a couple of years back and dove in head first, as I usually do once I find a new hobby. I do my own reloading and have the desire for a rifle with hopes of doing some long distance shooting as well as hunting. I ran across a Browning A bolt chambered in 338 win mag with alot of brass and some bullets for sale as a package and was considering buying it. I haven't owned a rifle besides a couple of shot guns and a crosman 760 .177. What are your opinions on the rifle and cartridge?
