Ive been using the great info on this site for a while now and figured the least i could do was sign up! I live just north of beaumont, tx (about 90 miles east of Houston). Not many places around here to hunt or shoot long range, but I am still interested in getting into it. Just picked up a savage model 12 target in 6.5x284 and now I need some glass for it! Most of our hunting is done at 100 yds or less, but the club i just joined does have a 600m rifle range. I plan to do quite a bit of research beforw purchasing so opefully i can find what i need!
