Found the site from a guy on another forum a while back linking to a classified ad. My hunting is very short range, so didn't look around more after that. Was doing some research and came back to the site recently and decided to join. Finally decided to start looking around and WOW!! Lots of really good stuff here. I didn't realize how much good intel there is here regardless of long range or short range. And non-hunting related stuff.
Looking forward to looking around some more and trying to contribute where I can.
Turkey hunting is my favorite, because I get to spend time hanging out with my uncle in a blind. He started me turkey hunting many years ago and he is getting up there in age, but it is still "our thing". Wouldn't trade these times for anything.
Enjoy deer hunting too, but I probably enjoy the gathering before and after the most. Can't hang out when hunting like we do turkey hunting. Life is short, and the times with the family become more important the older we get.
I'll do my best to share where I can.
