My name is Matt and I've been hunting since I was little (North of 40 now). I do a lot of bow hunting and some gun hunting. I've never done any long range hunting or shooting. I've never had a gun larger than a 7mm until recently. Just purchased a decent gun and looking to learn everything I can on the long range aspect of hunting/shooting. Yes, to me, 300 yds would be considered long range. I know that's a chip shot for most all of you but I'm taking it slow and trying to learn what I can.
Anyway, Looking forward to doing a lot of reading and asking some questions. I doubt I'll be able to contribute much here so I think I'll just try to absorb info instead.
