Howdy y'all!
New guy here, occasional lurker/reader.
Currently putting together a 6.5-284 on a Savage 111.
Nominally a Texas in-state hunter, primarily whitetail on family property.
My long gun collection has been dominated by the TC Encore for the last twenty years, but I find myself moving away from the break action and its inherent limitations and towards bolt guns over the past couple of years.
Might have a trip to Africa in the cards within the next two years.
I'll be working with a .375 Ruger and .416 Rigby this spring/summer in anticipation of that trip.
I am working on getting my two nephews into hunting, (ages 15 and 13) and have bought them each a rifle (Savage 110's: one in .308, one in .270).
I am a big fan of big bore single action revolvers, with custom Ruger Bisleys in 500 Linebaugh, 500 Linebaugh Max, 500 JRH, 500 S&W and .480 Ruger.
( I use the same username on the singleactions forum)

Picture of a fun one attached. 16" barreled takedown BLR with a can.
