With only 2 days for load development for my new 28N with 143gn HH, I settled on 88gn of N570 with 3567fps at 80 degree air temp with roughly 30 rounds shot through the barrel.
Now with roughly 80 rounds through the barrel, at 50 degree air temps, my Magnetospeed shows velocities of 3616 and 3610.
No heavy bolt lift and only minor cratering on the primers. I had a highly regarded Smith take a look at my gun and brass and he said the pressure looks fine....no more pressure signs than some factory loads.
