SOLD/EXPIRED Need help posting in classifieds

Guys,

I want to post a scope for sale on here, but am very cautious about being ripped off. If I sell on here, what should I watch out for?

Other than having someone send me a certified check I'm not sure how I can avoid being ripped-off.......... how do I make sure I get my money and the transaction goes smoothly? I'm not a business owner and don't accept credit cards etc.....

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

A. USPS Monet Order is easiest.

B. Mail Priority Insured (replacement value) Signature Requested.

C. Mail only after receipt of MO and cashed at USPS.

D. Take pics and email them before shipment as verification of condition.

E. Pack scope for Magilla Gorilla.


That's about as good as it gets. Maybe verify receipt with phone call.

If you are selling something, the buyer usually sends you the money first and when you receive the money, you send the product to the buyer.
