There is no NEED for a long action. Most are built on S/A's.

Very Nice ! With a " Smokeless Powder " rig do you still pour the powder down the barrel and seat the projectile on top , or is there some kind of casing like the " Nitro " muzzy that uses a plastic casing with primer and powder ?

Load same. Pour owder in then bullet on top.

I was just skimming through some of the older smokeless powder threads since you posted this thread . These things are shooting like high powered rifles with 3000 fps velocity and holding sub 2 inch groups out to 300 yards ! I didn't see what primers are being used . I'm sure its somewhere in those threads but I will ask . You using large rifle primers , 209 primers , or something else ?
