i just got a new pup and wanted to see how she does around guns . there has been a few turkeys hanging around my place so i grabbed the over/under in 28 gauge and my new pup and went out to find a turkey. 5 min. later and 1 shot the new pup was running up to claim her turkey. so it looks like a 28 gauge with my skeet loads will take a turkey and the new pup is just fine with a little gun fire

But I don't know if I would be setting that O/U in the dirt and rocks...It would be a crime to scratch up that beauty
