My "local" Sportsman's Warehouse had some CCI BR-4 primers for $8.85 er 100 plus tax.

I load for a bolt action 223 and a bolt action 7mm br. 1000 plus what I have will last me forever. I'm not going to get caught up on $20-30 when if I don't have them I can't shoot $6-7k in rifles.

Have at it then. A lot of these guys are on rather tight budgets including fixed incomes so they don't have the luxury of paying double or triple on things like primers. They are probably not feeding $7K rifles either. More like rem adl and barn door ugly Savages. I'm in the middle myself; I can cough a bit of cash a month on my toy budget, but it is still part of a budget.
