I did a light spray job over the factory FDE, looks good. Only thing I did was enlarge the recoil lug area to accomodate a heavy lug, but any will work. Never bedded. I hunted with it a few days this season in a blind. No blemishes to speak of. Almost shot a buck - own a piece of history here.

Thanks! I like it too. It's a Hart barrel I found on ebay that headspaced with no additional machining.
