SOLD/EXPIRED McGowen 25 cal 1:7

I bought this barrel here not long ago to build a 25 SST, plans have changed so it's up for sale again. I sent it for fluting to LRI.
Barrel is blank 25 cal, 1:7, spiral fluted, SS, 1.20 shank, .950 muzzle, to be finished at 18 inches. Weight before fluting was 4.96 pounds, don't have a scale now but it will be less than that. Asking $360 shipped.

A 135 berger at 3230 fps is a pretty big rival to a 140 berger in a 6.5. It gets to 700 yards in a hurry

That's a speed demon, wonder what I'd get from 18 inch barrel

I would guess 2950-3000 in an 18" barrel for the 25 PRC, based on 40ish fps loss per inch. Both my 25 PRC's were right at the 3220 mark with 24" barrel, 135 bergers and H1000 / RL26
