I was thinking about buying a pair of the Mavin B.3's in 6x30 for close in bow hunting here in the SE MN hardwoods forest. Anybody got any experience with these, or maybe the 8x30's?

I've had zero issues. Also can't recall having them out too much below freezing. The only thing that makes me nervous is the polymer body? No problem you think in cold weather?
I rarely bow hunt below freezing, so I think they will be alright.I've had zero issues. Also can't recall having them out too much below freezing.
Thank you! I believe I will!A 6x bino is FANTASTIC for woods hunting. You can look "through" the trees or brush not just at it with your own vision. Easy to hold still, wide field of view and more depth of field make a 6X bino the woods hunters friend. Give them a try you will be pleased at the results. DD62
Outstanding! I have searched and searched, and the closest I could find were all 7x35! THANKS!!Glenn, you might check out the Kowa 6.5x32 roof prism bino... They also have a 6x30 porro prism bino for a lot less $$$. Kowa is a quality company. DD62
