Marlin 444s 22'' barrel JM stamped bluing in my opinion is 99%has one light scratch on the left side of the action , bore is bright and rifling appears sharp ,stock has a few dings from handling . I bought this from a older gentleman who bought it new in 1980 if he recalled correctly and leaned it up in a corner until I showed up and noticed it over coffee ( I had been eyeballing it for years) I have shot it three times and it pops my my neck with every shot , It must move on lol
