Shooting Lever gun silhouette(latest passion). Put a Marbles Tang on the Marlin 39. Having a helluva time replication settings on range changes. From 40-100 yards I am spinning the elevation like crazy and screwing myself up. Any one have an idea like marking or painting? Thanks.

Just seen this post. Since there is no way to mark the sight to reset the zero. The only way to reset the elevation on those sights is. Zero the rifle at 25 yards. Then start screwing the sight down and counting the turns on the elevation stem till it stops. Write it down. Then return the number of turns back to 25 yards setting and shoot to check zero. Then count turns for other yardage settings and write them down, From the 25 yard setting. So you can return to each yardage zero.
Sort of like setting battle sight on an M-1 Garand.
Oh no, That like saying I am old.
