Hoping someone can give first hand knowledge on the EH1 stock comb height. Debating on whether to order the adjustable comb or not? I hear the comb height is pretty high already so I'm wondering if I will need cheek hardware running a 50mm scope? Trying to stay light so I dont want to add the option if I don't need it.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have an EH1 with a nice ghtforce nxs with a 50 with medium rings and love it, I don't believe an adjustable is needed.

Just my 2 cents

Perfect! Now is that a sendero (heavy) barrel you have on it? This might just kill two birds with one stone figuring out what ring height to go with.

I have 3 EH-1s. Running a VX-6 3-18x44 on one with x-low TPS rings on 20 moa Stiller base and it is perfect. Using a VX-6 4-24x52 on another w/ same rings for 34mm tube and have to use a stock pack for comfortable eye alignment. Same thing on third rig with Sightron Slll LR. That said, the stock packs are a cheap fix and you don't have to wait forever.

The grey one is a Remy 700 338 lapua in a Greybull stock with a sendero barrel with a NW Precision brake and a NF NXS with a 56mm and NF medium rings 13.5 lbs

The camo is a model 70 300 win mag, shilen select match #3 sporter and a NW Precision brake in a eh1 with a NF 5.5x22x50 on Hawkins Precision medium rings, I don't remember what it weighs, 9-10 maybe, Im on the road so I will check when I get home

You guys have been a great help. Thanks for the info! I might have to check out that NW Precision brake. Never heard of it before but I'm looking for something that works well with the big magnums.
