Hello,

I am just checking to see if we have any members here that own/operate machine shop and/or has a home based machine shop that is currently taking on new projects.

We are manufacturing our own rifle actions, barrels, projectiles and ammunition but are not wanting to actually manufacture our own stocks, so I am trying to see if anyone here might want to discuss manufacturing them for us.

Thank you,
THEIS

I don't know if you have already designed your own stock. But, if you sold me an action; I would send it to XLR industries. I bet Josh could add your action to the list of inlets he has for XLR's 50 BMG stock.

Cheers,

Hello,

Issue with preexisting chassis systems is the length of action....It is not just as simple as milling "new" inlet into the center section of the preexisting chassis systems since the action length is 17.12" in length. It would require entire new center section.

Thanks,
THEIS

Good Lord. What cartridge is it for?

Hello Lee,
It is an extra extra long BMG/Wildcat base capable action. Barrel tenon is 5.9" to handle the super heavy barrels but also serves another purpose that I will make "known" soon as patent is approved. That should be before Shot Show.
New patent requires that long barrel tenon to work with new integral and/or reflex suppression :)

Also- Check with Tyler Kemp on this site.

I don't think Tyler would have time since he hasn't even put his bullpup chassis into production yet, has he?

Thanks,
THEIS

I really don't know much about Tyler. I've just seen a few posts about a chassis idea. I suggested a long range chassis that could hold a barrel block for really long barrels, but I don't think the idea went anywhere.

I'm drooling over that action. Would it be available in a single shot? ...with a barrel tendon that long, I'm not sure that a lack of a magazine cutout would matter. It's a beauty. Can you tell us the MSRP?

Hello Lee,

We really haven't contemplated doing a single shot but if someone wanted one I am sure we could fulfill their request.
MSRP will be announced at Shot Show since we will have the model pictured, model setup with switchlug device and model setup for reflex and/or integral suppression. We are finishing up on the extractor placement then will be ready for production.

Thanks,
THEIS

Do you have the stock design yet or are you looking for someone to do the design work too? The company I work for handles design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and parts machining. We cut 99% aluminum in our shop for aerospace and defense. High speed, high precision, and quick turnaround. We're not the cheapest place around but that's not what people are looking for when they come to us. We also handle most surface coatings. CMM data and FAI reports if needed. If you have a price point we can generally work with that too and provide some value engineering. Send me a pm and I'll get you my work email if you want.
