You gotta love mule deer hunting but I must admit, it's been hard to find a mountain muley, with its rough diet, as palatable as an elk or pronghorn. I've started hunting them on our eastern plains where they have milo and corn so that makes up for it, in fact, I've seen groups of 6-7 muley fat boys out there with serious weight problems. They can't even run… it's more like a fast wallow.
