I realize that we get the target the factory shoots and Cooper is glad to give you data on what they used but I looking for what others have had success with out there. Just bought this 308 used and had some 168 gr Hornady SST and @ 100 yards a 5 shot group was all inside 1" square.

Just want to see if anybody shooting this rifle has any loads they would share using Berger, Nosler or Hornady bullets and powder used. Looking to shoot Southeastern Whitetail deer and/or yote with this gun out to 600 yards or less............

Funk is that the "Custom Competition" ?.....If so....Have you used it hunting ?

I had a box of Remington UMC 150 gr that shot pretty good out of this rifle. Figured I would try ammo I had in stock and use the brass to reload.

Purchased some Berger Hunting VLD 168 gr bullets today to reload.

That is the custom competition and they do just as good on deer as the vlds do. Some may disagree but that is the experiences that I have had.
