Hello all, thought I should finally get out and introduce myself. Been lurking for some time and picked up a wealth of info. Just made a great trade for a NIB Remington 700 SPC in .308. Put a Vortec scope mounted with DNZ rings.
Shot 20 rounds through it while breaking in the barrel and then had to send it back to Remington due the recall. Hope to have it back someday...
I am looking at rebarreling a 30-06 to a 25-06 and was wondering if a 24 or 26 inch barrel is preferred with a 1x10 twist? Planning on long range PD hunting. Was wondering if someone had a quick recommendation?
