Hey guys, first post here, I'm from Montana. I'm torn between getting a .243 and a .308. Looking to shoot anything from coyotes to whitetails, muleys or antelope. Distances anywhere from 200-1000 yards. I'm fairly set on getting a Remington 700 but open to suggestions in that price range. The .243 I was thinking of shooting 95gr bonded bullets and for the .308 I was thinking 147gr but I've not looked into that a whole lot so more info would be much appreciated. Anything from recommended barrel length, twist ratio, barrel type, bullet weight and powder load. Thanks a lot guys!
