Hey all, figured I would check here before going new.
I am wanting to setup a new deer rifle for my favorite little hunting buddy (8 year old son). He has been using a suppressed AR chambered in 6.5 Grendel. I am wanting to setup a bolt gun next year for him. I have an Outdoorsman's chassis system so action must be Remington footprint. I'd like to keep the barrel short cause we will be using it suppressed and primarily from blinds. Carbon wrapped barrel preferred but not a must.
I'm not overly caliber specific but needs to be short action—.308, Creed, PRC, 7-08, etc. I have the most ammo and components on hand for .308 or Creed.
So, if anyone has one OR IF ANY OF YOU BUILD RIFLES, feel free to message me or post here.
