What's a 28 Yukon?? Long story short it's in my opinion a better version of the 28 Nosler. It has a longer neck and gives up minimal case capacity. Longer neck leads to longer bbl life. https://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/28-yukon.3867742/

Here's a couple articles on the history of this cartridge. This is the second one I had built. The first one went 1100 rounds and was still shooting good but I was getting close to heading out on a hunt so I built a new one. This one has 268 rounds on it and I haven't shot it since 2017, hence the reason it's for sale. Although it's an absolute hammer, it sits in the safe. It was built for a trip to the Yukon and performed exceptional but I don't really have a need for such horsepower!

Specs of the build:
Stiller Predator
Proof 1 in 8.4 Sendero Light 26". Hawkins 3 port brake
Hawkins Bottom Metal
Mesa Precision Stock
Timney Calvin Elite

I ran a 180 JLK at 3165 in this gun. I will include 225 rounds of prepped brass as well as the dies to the buyer. Happy to answer any and all questions, shoot me a pm. If someone is interested in this but wants to shoot factory ammo, this gun can easily be converted to a 28 Nosler just by running a reamer in by hand. Happy to do that for you or most any gunsmith would charge $75-100 to do it for you.
Price is $3200 net to me. That includes shipping to your FFL

I'm guessing if the good lord made more southpaws this sweet rifle would have been scooped up in record time. Nice build for sure.
