Have any of you guys had a leupold VX2 and a freedom.. I have not got to mess with a VX2 but there are leftover ones with CDS turrets and windplex reticles for under 300 and the CDS freedom is about 229.. I didn't know if the VX2 was worth the extra money.. I have got to mess with a freedom twice now fairly recently and I was impressed with the glass and the low light transmission for 199 dollar scope.. this is going on a deer hunting rifle for the wife and I can't afford another VX5 or 6 for her rifle right now. It will likely be going on my savage storm 6.5 CM. Or possible the .243.. thanks for any input!
