some very light handling marks, very good condition. can text or email more photos
to potential buyers. this model is discontinued, the newer one is $ 1900 for the body only for comparison. asking 1500 for both body and eyepiece.

yes, good advice.
the glass is not APO. can you give me advice on the eyepiece?
I am not sure what locking means in this context.

Shane, the locking style has a small tang near the scope body. It's simply a second gen e/p modification that adds a lock to the e/p-body combo.

I don't see any such thing on mine.
it is about 10 yrs old, if that helps to determine if it should have one or not.
this eyepiece is removed by twisting the base until it releases, and pull straight out....
