lapua bullets

i have some 30 cal lapua b416 bullets. it says subsonic on the box. what i was wondering is if they are safe to shoot in say a 300 win mag at normal speeds. i think they are 200gr. thanks

Hi they are designed for shooting out of 308's at subsonic velocity through suppresed police rifles. the projectiles are safe to load at any velocity you would like to in a 308 bore. they are a FMJ if i recall and the loaded ammo from LApua had the base painted light blue for easy identification. The BC is designed for sub sonic use so it is not as good as a VLD but will work well.
