I'm thinning the herd of rifles that don't get used like they should. I bought this brand new a few years back. I put two boxes of factory Hornady 162 gr. Precision Hunter through it then robbed the scope off it and never replaced it. Comes with the $70 muzzle adapter from Kimber that converts the 7/16 threads to 5/8 as well as a scope rail and two sets of direct mount rings (no clue why I have two sets). Factory trigger is set at a crisp 3 pounds and has a 9 twist barrel.

The gun shoots amazingly well and recoil is surprisingly not bad for a 5 1/2 pound rifle. I was averaging 2890fps and have everything it came with from the factory as well.

That is the gun I wanted to buy when first looking at a 280AI. Couldn't find one around here so ended up with an X-Bolt version.
