Ithaca 500 o/u 20 gauge

This is an Ithaca 600 , not an Ithaca 500 as listed in the title. I don't know how to edit the title of this post. Sorry.

20 gauge, early model with the blued, hand engraved receiver.
28" barrels, fixed chokes mod/full. 6.25lbs

When I was in the market for this gun I watched a lot of GunBroker auctions before I found this one which has a nice chunk of wood on it. The grain is much nicer than others I've seen.

Either my memory or eyes are failing or both, but this is actually an Ithaca 600 and not a 500. That may account for the nicer wood. My apologies for the confusion.

Great shotgun!
I have a 500 that is worn slick. Refinished the stock once, and it needs it again.
You would not want to carry the Quail it has terminated!

Worth every cent!
