For the wife's 260 ruger mkii I bought a Boyd's featherweight thumbhole laminate...adjusting for barrel and action fit and bedded....i then widdled down the stock to fit her better...cut for lop, reduced thumbhole for shorter hand lenght....quite a bit of work but in the end it fits the bill and is much nicer to handle than just a factory stock.....didnt take days to do all the work either.....but with the correct tools it time was shortened....
