Iron sight removal.

Can someone please help me here? I want to remove the iron sights from my 700 BDL and am wondering if I need to plug the tapped holes when I remove the screws? Thank you for your replies.

Gittr, Midway USA, "plug screws" blued or stainless. I have some in brass in my tool box also.
