What's up everyone?! My name is Brian. I'm 29 years old and live in Pittsburgh, PA. I just recently got out of the Army and looking to talk to some people about guns, hunting, optics, long range formulas, competitions, and etc... I'm married and have 3 daughters, so needless to say, not a lot of people to talk to about that stuff around my house! Lol Anyways, I have quite a a few rifles of different calibers, my favorite being an old lever action 300 savage. I inherited it from my dad who got it passed down to him from his dad. I fell in love with savage since the first shot. I've shot guns my whole life, but I have never done competition shooting. My shot groups were very tight at 300 yards. I'd guesstimate 6 shots in about a half dollar size hole with an M's and an acog. That's just an estimate. I know long range shooting is completely different but just giving some of my background. I'd love to talk and get as much advice as possible from everyone! I'm looking to buy a savage 338 next week and could really use some help with optics. I'm open to suggestions. I've been looking at the vortex razor HD and nightforce Max 5.5x22x56. Any help would be great! Thanks and I look forward to talking with everyone!
