So a couple of months ago I picked up a pound of this for my 300 win mag and developed a good load with 215 hybrids. Now I'm needing more and haven't been able to find any anywhere. I've been checking often online but if anyone has any tips to try to catch some before its sold out that would be awesome. Or is it just not being replenished anywhere at this time? Thanks for any help!

Lol. I got a lb of 7977 and it wouldn't print my 300WM 212 Hornady eldx anything under 2.5"!
Crazy how that works. H1000 won't shoot worth a darn in my rifle. Tried everything and 1moa is the absolute best it would do. Bartlein barrel. It sure likes that imr load though.

I'm in Butte Montana there was a store here that had some last week. I could grab it for you and get it as far Dillon- i go there once per week.

Working on a load for my 240 and found it really doesn't like the eldx either.
Same thing , I couldn't get it to gr
Lol, I know. Too bad we couldn't just swap bottles. But hazmat fee...
Have you tried different bullets.
My 240 hated the eldx bullets

Anybody that couldn't find H1000 bought it up. Same for Retumbo and 8133.

I have 3lbs of 7977, but haven't tried any yet as I was able to source some H1000, N565, and RL26 right after I bought the 7977.

Savage 110 High Country 24" 300WM
7977:
I tried various charge weights with the 212ELDX nothing worked. I then tried various charge weights with 168amax. Nothing good either.
Reloader 23:
A bit over MOA with highest velocity with ELDX. Same with 168 Amax
Accurate 4350:
Sub MOA with 65.5gr consistently. Runs 60fps under RL23. 2770fps vs 2830fps

What is this 240 you referenced?

It is my 240 wthby.
Tried 103 gr eldx and the best group we could get at 100 yes was 3 inches.
Tried 7977 7828 powders and it didnt matter.
Switched to the 100 gr by interlock and immediately got 5 shots in a inch group
Same with nosler 100gr.
Was just saying I never had any luck with eldx

AH ok. Lots of reports of the ELDX not working for folks across the caliber row.

Going to try them in my 243 and see what happens.
I know one guy that uses them in a 270 short mag and he says they are awesome but I dont know what he has for a bbl and what the twist is
